It’s funny how bitching about the atmosphere in the stadium was non existent when LSU was winning big home games. Start winning and suddenly the atmosphere will improve.

The true fans with genuine enthusiasm have left the building. It's going corporate.

Go back to the 67,500. Not a chance. Win against GA and Alabama and watch 103,000 rock!

Concessions is a major reason why the experience isn't the same at sporting events. Hot dogs have doubled in price the last 20 years and we all know that the rate of inflation the last 20 years have not been 100 percent. You shouldn't have to think twice about getting the second coke or hot dog.
Prices for games will go down once people stop renewing or buying tickets for games. Check the secondary market this year to see if there's interest in games. I think the crowd that buys season tickets just to go to 3 games a year and hope to break even on the other games will start rethink that strategy if prices do not stabilize.

LSU has too many pussy fans! Leaves in the 3 rd Quarter, weather we ware winning or losing!

The new scoreboards look nice but adding that South endzone "upper deck" makes the stadium look bad. It doesn't even go with the rest of the stadium.
It's the PIM and the increase of Corporate "Give Away" ticket holders that have destroyed it. (Wine & Cheeser's)
They could care less about the LSU football program and the University as well. They're mainly there to see and be seen in the first half before departing for more important things.
Doesn't bother me at all to miss games now; no mental anguish what so ever.
I attended more basketball games last year than football for the first time ever. (And I've been to more games in Tiger Stadium than most on here)

Don’t forget Joe taking away parking and tailgating spots and selling them. Add a shitty home schedule and a very average product on the field and it just wasn’t worth it. I really enjoyed my vacation to the UK using that ticket money last year more than I would have going to the games

Offseason thoughts at my desk---The real reason why Tiger Stadium is not what it use to beThe south endzone extension

You nailed it panic. In days past, going to the games was a fun experience. Bringing a date, having a few drinks, cheering on the Tigers win or lose. Even when they lost you had a good day. This generation boos players and coaches, gets angry when they lose and spends the rest of the day or night bitching. We had a helluva lot more fun then and spent a lot less time whining.
