The closer it gets the more I feel like UCLA will have a tough time against LSU. These guys are training hard and are hungry for a big show out. I can just feel it.
If LSU can get the OL and WR’s to play at a high level for this game then we will beat them handily. 42-20. If we can’t get these guys ready in time then I could see something like 33-20 and it being close until the 4th.
With our depth on defense alone, we have a pretty big advantage! UCLA might have veteran starters but they will wear down and if UCLA can’t run then they’ll have a hard time passing.
What did I hear from LSU fans about our veterans on the OL? You can have veterans (ref. UCLA) but if the veterans aren’t very good then you still suck. Go Tigers!

41-20 LSU jumps to a big lead and sits on it. UCLA scores late in the game against our 2nd team to get to 20. Nussmier is taking snaps by the 8 mins in the fourth.

I felt good about defense going into last year. Wasn’t a Bo fan boy, but bought into the 4-3 and the O comments on top of the talent we had coming back.
Then was hopeful that as the season went on we would fix it, again due to talent alone...... but to no avail. Same shite week in and week out.
After that I’m so damn shell shocked I need to see it to believe it. I get it, new coaches, scheme etc.
But, having the opener against Chip Kelly is a lot like our opener against The Pirate last year. We’re going to have the kitchen sink and bunch of misdirection thrown at us with a lot trickery sprinkled in.
It’s fair to be concerned about this game.
