will anyone there be able to explain better than Wes why suspending Will Wade is the wrong move?
Other than it making you angry it could ruin LSU's run into the postseason.
Like why it is actually wrong?
I'll give them their talking points, just in case the media is there and wants to talk to people.
Suspending Wade was wrong because it was a rash decision made only because of an unconfirmed media report by Yahoo. Wade is not under investigation by the FBI nor the NCAA. He has simply been subpoenaed in a case regarding fraud, and has been accused of no wrongdoing. By asking him to speak to the BOS, LSU would have opened themselves and their basketball coach to legal trouble because he is involved in a federal court case and no lawyer would allow their client to speak to an outside party about an ongoing case.

and when they ask you to comment on Will Wade choosing NOT to meet with LSU admins about the situation?
are you going to say he should still be able to coach anyway?

Read my last sentence again:
Asking him to meet and discuss an ongoing court case shows how incompetent the administration is. One would think a BOS with a trial lawyer on the board would know that having him speak to them about this would open them and Wade to additional legal issues.

“Coach Wade has been subpoenaed as a witness in a federal case. Once all evidence is released LSU will complete a thorough investigation & will cooperate with the NCAA as warranted”
I’m not a lawyer but that’s not complicated

I get the feeling that your some old far left cat. You'll probably be watching the news hoping to god only a few students show up.

i dont care how many show up
they are going to embarrass themselves either way because there is no good reasoning on why Wade should be coaching if he can't meet with his boss to talk about it

And that is not all entirely accurately, but that is fine. You still can't coach under those circumstances

Has someone directly involved with the situation told you this? Or are you getting this from media reports?

That's the thing, his bosses put him in an impossible situation. "Show up and tell us about this court case or you can't coach." If they had remained quiet and put out a statement saying "we understand Coach Wade is involved in a case, but has been accused of no wrongdoing as of yet. We will monitor the situation and take action as necessary as evidence is provided," then no one would have an issue. Asking him to come in and talk is an idiotic move, because you know he can't do that.

Just go through Lesters post history, the guy bitches constantly. LSU could win national titles in all sports and he would still complain about something.

Who writes exactly what Alleva and co. want him to write. He is the voice of the athletic department.

Checks out.

False, the media played the AD like a fiddle and they put themselves in this position.
Alleva and company acted solely on the reactions to the media.
Get out of here with your clown arse.

How so? How is "we understand Coach Wade is involved in a case, but has been accused of no wrongdoing as of yet. We will monitor the situation and take action as necessary as evidence is provided," not an option for them?
