Hey, we still have some time. I've personally never been there, but I hear good things.

i got escorted out of there on sat night

yep, indigo is near 2nd avenue which is the closest thing to the quarter nashville has.

the more 'hip' area is behind west end near vandy. broadway brewhouse, lime, red door, south street, boundry..and a host of other neauvo hot spots have opened there...plus they have a killer comic book store right in the middle of everything that stays open pretty late

Careful, though, there's another Hotel Indigo on West End closer to campus, isn't there? Maybe around 24th? Anyway, one is closer to the stadium, the other closer to downtown, depends on which you are staying in.

Bump.

I'm getting really excited about this trip. If we are staying on Broadway, can we walk to some of these bars or have to drive? And what's the alcohol on campus policy like in Nashville? TIA

Depends on where, but probably you'll be in easy waling distance to all the Lower Broadway spots. You'd need to cab it to the stadium, though. Have a good (and safe) time! The Google map some hero did (page 2 maybe?) could really help you out too.

I was actually looking at this place for Friday night but didn't know about the Alumni dinner. I don't really want to go to the dinner (or pay $90 for it), but will the bar still be open to the public? Their website says they have live music, so I'm assuming that LSU AA didn't rent the whole place out or anything??

I would guess the bar would still be open. I'd probably check with somebody in charge of the Nashville chapter.

Thanks - it sounds awesome

I think we're going to the Patterson House for drinks before dinner, I'm pretty pumped after reading the reviews here.
