Just to put a number to it, if every LSU player does sign and the only recruit to sign is Blake Mitchell, the roster sits at 43 players right now. 23 position players and 20 pitchers.

This is not being posted to start speculation on who transfers or anything like that. Just simply want to post the roster number.

And you know Jay brings in 2-3 transfers at least.

This was the Rockies’ comments when he was drafted

“When you can run like him, our feeling was he could cover some ground for us in the outfield. I didn't think it was a major investment at that point (30th pick). If it didn't work out, we could take a chance. Michael Jordan tried (baseball). Maybe he might want to make a run at it," said Rockies scouting director Bill Schmidt

Back to Milazzo, both he & Beloso are getting married, standing in each other's weddings. Not sure if being a student is the way either want to start off their marriages. And guessing that if either returned, that would relegate Bear to first base?

It’s actually not too bad. You just have to be enrolled. They don’t necessarily have to be full time as grad students.

13 drafted players from a single team is a new record.

Previous record was 10, also LSU, in 2013.

1B or DH. Dude can crush balls. He struggled some but he’ll grow as a player in the off season. JJ likes guys that can hit. I don’t see him on the bench.

That’s what I think. I think Bear ends up at 1st Base. He should improve his defense and offense(hitting off speed pitches) next year.

I'm not...but nobody knows how his rehab will go.

Just realized the LSU side of the '23 CWS bracket had 40 players drafted off those 4 teams.

That is insane. Can't imagine that every happening before. In fact, I am sure of it.
