Since they got rid of the short season leagues, they'd both probably start in low A. Crews maybe in high A. Complex or rookie ball is now primarily HS draftees and guys in their first year in the states from the caribbean.
Pitchers that aren't shut down may go to the complex league to throw an inning once a week.

I suspect Crews to get a similar assignment as Bregman did in 2015; Low-A or Hi-A and maybe end the year in Hi-A or AA. All depends on when he signs, how he's feeling, etc.

The Nationals have a loaded OF prospect list. Add in Crews and Pickney with James Wood (AA), Robert Hassell (AA), Elijah Green (A) all between the ages of 19 and 21. Very impressive.
