You can't officially pull your name out of the draft once it has started.

Probably just a William Blake fan.

Gotcha. So why has the MLB tracker dropped some guys off their undrafted list? Because several who said they have removed their names where dropped from the list.

They removed their names officially through the proper process before the draft started.

Right, so for all intents and purposes he is still in the draft. If a teams wants to throw money at him, those two tiger emojis arent going to dissuade them.

The two tiger emojis were tweeted out to communicate to fans and future teammates that he's not engaging in the draft process any longer. He's not answering phone calls or having his advisor answer them on his behalf.

Just because you can't officially pull your name once the draft has started doesn't mean you can't effectively end the draft process.

You're getting hung up on a technicality.

Seems like the teams to keep an eye on today is the Mariners, Mets, Nationals, Astros, and Guardians. They all seem to be in position to have some pool money to go over to meet a players price point in the 11-20 rounds.

Not hung up on anything really, just dont think the draft is done with Brown yet. We've seen plenty of cases where kids who seem destined to come to LSU get snatched up at the last minute when money was thrown at them.

Cool. You go ahead and continue to give yourself an ulcer about it and I'll just be over here thinking about the innings he will pitch for LSU next year.

I don't think Brown is one to worry about. His number has been high from jump and he wants to come to LSU. Similar to Guidry situation last season. Should be more worried about Johnson, Milam, and Larson getting thrown something at the end than Brown IMO.

Zero ulcers over here buddy. I'll be happy if he plays for us next year.

He can always go back on what he said, but you should probably believe what he said. I guess you can worry about all the negative possibilities, but I'm choosing to believe him.

Hopefully, it works out.

I'm not looking to get into another JT argument, but is pointing out that he struggled at the plate and on routine plays degrading him?

It used to just be called pointing out the obvious.

To 99% of the posters on here thats degrading but to me, you, and one other person we are pointing out the obvious. We call a spade a spade. Most posters dont like that.

thoughts on the Nats pool money entering today? They took 6 grad players/college seniors. Granted, I know most of that is to free up cash for Crews, Morales, and Sykora from the first 3 rounds but I'm interested to see what they do today because they probably saved some serious cash from rounds 4-10. I also wonder if Crews gets the $10 mil he wanted or settles closer to the $9m slot value.

You have had far more hot takes that blew up in your face than had merit. You really need to let this go

JT had his problems, but there is a very good chance that nobody would beat him out at SS next year. He's not perfect, but if he's your best option...you gladly take him back.

This happens to every big time baseball school. People care more about themselves than a school that in many cases means nothing to them before attending. This is not new

Of all the existing roster who has not been drafted yet are Money and Little the only ones who wouldn't be welcomed back if they didn't get drafted or didn't sign?
