Impressive list of recruits. It is curious that AR had so many committed in that they knew most would never make it to campus. DVH can recruit.

I always liked trying to get 13 as my jersey number in sports. Hope it is my lucky number today and all 13 are gone by eod.

We’ll see how today plays out, but only have 4 of the 13 taken off the board on Day 1 was a good day for them, when the top prospect lists would have projected 10-12 to be gone. Either their guys weren’t quite Top 100 after all or they are asking for more money to sign than teams were willing to give and are going to Arkansas.

Only 70 picks have been made. They did not have 10-12 commits in the top 70. In fact, that 4 of their guys are already off the board is a little higher than some people were expecting.

I don’t know what the big deal is. I don’t think we see him pitch any next season. I thought Shores would be draft eligible after his sophomore year. I was mistaken.

It was a pretty innocent statement.

Grant Taylor confirms to me that he will not return to LSU next year. Said going into the draft he knew it was a 50/50 chance he'd get drafted high enough to make that decision.

"I was pretty surprised. Everything that I heard was kind of a little bit later in the draft. So I was just kind of sitting on the couch and all of a sudden I get a call from my advisor and two minutes later, I'm on the White Sox." #LSU

was Grant Taylor drafted out of HS?

just a wild story. he was ok as. freshmen and the flashed the stuff in Cape Code and now he’s a second rounder after TJs

gotta be used as a recruiting tool for HS Pitchers.

Don’t worry about getting injured. Ce show programs you have 1st round stuff and you’ll make millions.

I don't think he was, but he was definitely on the radar. He was a sweat going into that draft.

Where was Kade Anderson projected to go in the draft? The lil feller who took his name out of the draft to play for the Tigers next year

My question is, what does it mean to "withdraw" from the draft- does that really prevent a team from picking you?

In other words, is it possible that someone could take a late-round flyer on him anyway and make an offer he can't refuse?

I’m sure everyone is aware, but Moscona doesn’t know shite so don’t pay attention to any of his social media unless you’re telling him that he knows nothing.

A general note for everyone who’s curious…If Cam Johnson is drafted at anytime today he will sign, the round does not matter.

Rinse and repeat for Milam and Larson.

And anyone on the current roster.

We should see a lot of LSU players taken during rounds 3 through 7 today. Teams will only have 2 - 3 minutes to select a player so go ahead and plan on not working for the rest of the day.
