Not odd at all really.

$37000 is not that much to him, but that might be the difference between the organization and signing someone Lower in the draft or not

This is pretty much it. Grabbing a small amount here and there without materially changing the bonus for the big guys might allow for signing other guys.

Imagine he holds firm for that extra 37k during the draft, they decide not to draft him. He drops 1 slot. That next slot is worth 5.7 mil. So he loses almost 300k by doing that, and potentially more if he falls another spot

The Brewers have signed their 3rd round pick, the Canadian guy that seemed to be an overdraft. I haven't seen the bonus number yet but I was thinking it would be well below the $600K slot. It won't tell us the full picture on Noot, but it's the start of the picture clearing up.

Saw he’s not flying down to Arizona to sign and get his physical until Sunday. So it must be the verbal commitment. Haven’t seen a number anywhere either.

Good info, Project. That’s good to hear. Thanks, man.

Baseball America had put out an early top 50 for transfers. Listening to their podcast, 13 of the 50 were drafted or signed as UDFAs. The only one (of those 13) that probably won't sign is Carter Young.

Signings are starting to roll in but none with franchises that really affects us yet, outside of the Brewers one mentioned earlier without the number.

Noot shared a post from his mom dropping him off at the airport saying she knows he’ll do great things

Guess that means he’s coming here and not signing anything.

He was already in Baton Rouge, so either he went home and is coming back or he is going to Milwaukee.

My guess is some of those guys probably went home to be with their family for the draft. So hopefully it’s back to school…there were quite a few bags in the picture. He’s not moving to Milwaukee…

Air traffic experts need to get on that!!

He’s wearing purple shorts. Jay Johnson’s picking him up from the airport tonight.

Purple shorts and LSU shoes. I’ll take that as a 1 way flight to Louisiana.

Hope that plane has pontoons

Does LSU have any baseball or school activities going on right now that would require him to be present right now?
