Yep. I think he pulled a Gausman. "If you aren't taking me here...I'm not going".

The Box welcomes you.

Sorry guys I've been out...I'm back.

I take it yall have seen Bregman's twitter?

What does he play at LSU? 2nd with Jones moving to SS?

The combo of Jones and Bregman will most likely make up LSU's middle infield next year.

Tyler Moore or Katz at 1B and 3B undetermined at the moment.

Adam, what is your input on Jennings? Him being picked kind of came out of left field. (Pun, hehe)

Yes, unless their willing to sign for well under 500K which is unlikely.

Any chance they have to play JaCoby at 3B? Who do you see there right now?

I think I remember hearing about Evan Powell getting reps at 3B. Jacoby has too much range to be playing 3B.

Looks like we are safe with Chris Chinnea too.

Anyone else feel like we are gonna be very thin on infielders next season, unless some of the outfielders we sign can play IF too?

He has family at LSU...his draft selection did come surprisingly earlier than anyone had anticipated. I do think however once he lets this sit for a week and talks to the coaches about a possible starting position in the OF the Tigers could be in good shape.

Of course he's excited, as an 18 year old being drafted by an MLB team it's a dream come true. Cody Glenn went through the same thing last year and many people felt he was "too excited about his pick" to attend college and look where he ended up.

Bottom line as always will be will he set a number and stick with it regarding his bonus...if he does you have to like LSU's chances with the (semi hard slots this year)

Mainieri raves about Jones athletic ability in the field so sticking him on the corner would go against everything he raves about the kid.
