As I remove the purple and gold glasses and put down the kool aid, I have to say that I really don't see LSU getting blown out this year. Sure it can happen, and I'm certainly not saying that I don't think LSU won't lose at all. But, with our O-line and D-line I just see us at least being in every game. Bama just showed everyone what happens when you control the line of scrimmage. And I see us establishing that on offense against UF. They will get a heavy dose of Scott off tackle. We will wear them down and run clock. Now maybe they get some quick scores on us and this ends up being a close game. But I don't see this blowout that you are predicting.

If the secondary doesnt do something...we will loose. We gave up way too many big plays to MSU.

With 2 weeks to prepare for this game I think the problems the secondary is having will be fixed. Either by blitzing or by using better schemes, but it wont be as bad as it looked against Miss St.

I really hated last year's game, as it came the week following Florida's loss to Aubie. We all knew they'd play their hearts out against LSU in an attempt to salvage their season and they did.

They'll do so again this year, but at least LSU has the benefit of a week off while Fla has to suit up (not much of a challenge, sure, but still...). Should give Hatch the chance to be ready, as I'm sure LSU will need both men's skills against the Gators.

Minimize mistakes and take away as much of Harvin and Tebow as you can (and make 'em try to beat you with somebody else), that's my hope.

Being #2 sounds nice and all right now, but it's not too important to me unless we see LSU leaving Gainsville victorious on Oct 11.

i think florida is slightly overrated.

my prediction (more like hopes) is that lsu beats florida and south carolina. both are away and i hope they are absolutely exhausted as uga comes in and knocks off the #1 lsu tigers in baton rouge. yeah it can happen

I predict a close game...if LSU gets in Tebow's face and shut's down the passing game we win...I like our chances....it ought to be a good game..I am looking forward to going...as a florida resident...I have to wait to see my Tigers every other year....I paid a crap load for my tickets...I hope it is a good game...

It will be hi-scoring, scary, and very, very close.

By quarter:
1 - UF/3 - LSU/0
2 - UF/10 - LSU/14
3 - UF/27 - LSU/21
4 - UF/27 - LSU/28

Look for Florida to sell out stopping the run and bringing blitz packages to rattle Lee leaving the flats and deep ball wide open. Charles Scott will have another 120+ day drawing more attention from the defense. The hat won't be afraid to let Lee air it out for a few easy scores with Lafell. As far as our defensive play, the key to control Fla offense is to pressure Tebow which we can do with our front four leaving plenty of defense left to control the middle and deep part of the field. Percy Harvin and Brandon James are most of the offense but a speedy secondary can limit the damage.
