This is the party we signed up for. Gonna be a great time, great location, and you can't ever beat an open bar. Have had a lot of fun with these folks in the past, good people.

Yea my main question about the Sheraton was the crowd. Not that I'm looking to get out of control, just that I am flying across the country for the atmosphere.

Just got my ticket to Howlin Wolf. If you want to update your list, it's $25. I'm ready for a damn strong party.

We're going to the $170 party at the BBC! The reason its so much more expensive than the others is b/c it's all-inclusive. Food, drinks, place to watch, bathrooms, etc and for 12 hours. Worth it IMO.

Not saying you won't -- and it's not THAT hard... especially over 12 hours... but would you really expect to ring up $125 bar tab ... PER person?

By comparison the Sheraton event I posted is $45 -- which includes dinner (not drinks).

My gf drinks about 2 or 3 beers or drinks and she's done --- so the $170 just wouldn't work out for me.

My gut feeling is that there will be folks at the BBC for sure -- but it's not gonna be an overflow crowd at $170 per head --

No matter where you go --- it's gonna be a good time to be in NOLA!!!

I just got a re-confirmation email from Sheraton --- they are expecting a full crowd....

Entry starts at 5 -- anybody's party not all there by 6 PM will be dropped from the list and refunded their money.

If space is available when they arrive they'll be let in... otherwise -- refund.

So either they are hyping something or they are getting a pretty good response. I know my "party" is building to about 12 now and if there is NOT a party going on.... we'll MAKE one, that's for sure.

I've heard that a Tiger Group rented Ritolos and was pretty reasonable cost.

Yes. For 12 hours, with 2 meals (and not krystal burger type stuff), and alcohol (and not drinking just beer), I 100% would spend close to 170. Keep in mind the location... where are you going to go when we win? The sheraton ballroom? No you want to be on Bourbon where people will be having an unbelievable time.

And the guys that started it are saying they are capping it below capacity so that it's not miserable to get to the bathroom and get drinks. So they're not really concerned about an overflow crowd. I think 200 people is their max and the website shows like 30 spots left or something.

I have reservations at the Sheraton....group of friends... about 10 LSU and 4 BAMA bought tickets together. These are intense BAMA fans. So it will be mixed.

Asheville, NC - Meeting at Hickory Tavern in Biltmore Park. Get there early (before 7:00), otherwise we may not be able to hold a seat for you. No cover.

Cool..... It's gonna be fun to be in NOLA.

I sent email to Sheraton event folks about how the viewing will be set up.... No reply yet.... But they seem to have their shite together with a check in plan.... Multiple bars, etc

Beef - after the game I may go to Bourbon Street for a while.... But I suspect it'll be even more crowded than last time.... And that was a mob scene. The BBC event sounds good... I hope everybody has a blast!

Champions Square is NOT showing the game. I'm sure it will be loaded pre game... But they are not showing the game there.

So NSIS.... But didn't want folks looking to go there to be dissappointed.

Why the F would Champions Square NOT be showing it for a game this BIG and with so many L.S.U. fans that will not have tickets but would like to be close to the Dome/game? Incredibly stupid and asinine decision whomever made it.
