I like That Aranda is making hiring and firings now.
What’s O’s job again?

I thought you just said that the hiring of Canada was a big time frick up?
O's first big offensive hire was a guy he paid $1.5 million to run the offense and within four games he was sticking his big fingers in the mix when he had claimed he would hire great coaches and stay out of their way. O then had to pay the guy another million to fire him. Meaning LSU paid an OC $2.5 million to produce a worst offense than we had in 2015. It also meant O would start year two of his offense at the same fricking place we started year one. That's a big frick up for the program without any thought to Canada's ability.
LSU is giving O a do over. He has his OC, although it's his second in two years, and his QB. He better get it right this time. This game is vital to his well being at LSU. Anyone rejecting that idea is foolish.

Yep that's what O was doing. Sabotaging Canada. It had nothing to do with players not knowing the offense.

You don't think a loss tonight is worth flipping out over?
Is any loss worth flipping out over to you? If the answer is no that's fine. I just wonder why you're on a LSU fanatic board if that's the case.

So Canada gets credit for 6 and 2in the SEC and Orgeron does not. Give us a break. Orgeron needs to win or lose with the offense he wants. We did not have the Oline or QB to run it last year.

I think it depends on how the game goes if it's worth flipping out over Goldie. If LSU looks bad and gets beat by 2 scores, it's cause for concern. If it's a close game and LSU comes up short, it's certainly disappointing but not cause to "flip out" over IMO unless it's due to turnovers or mistakes.

That's a fair response.
Shrubber just frames it as if there's no appropriate time to have an extreme response to a football game. That's the entire reason why a fanatic board exists, so you can flip out once in a while.
He just keeps himself perched on this pillar of rationality and never wants to get in the fray. In this particular venue I think it's perfectly appropriate to be as irrational as anyone wants to be. It's for fricking entertainment, this isn't real life.

I've been trying my hardest to stay open minded and waiting until at least a handful of games are played before making any judgements. But, if they come out stink the place up with mistakes, turnovers, penalties, drops, busted coverages and/or missed tackles I may change that stance really quick.
However, if they come out and do all of those things well, I'm gonna be encouraged if it's a win obviously.

He changed what Canada was doing. He even admitted it. What's so hard to understand?

2016 saw Pittsburg score 42 a game. Maryland scored 34 against the 23rd ranked team with tons of distractions. LSU scored about 25 for the season in 2017. You know the one thing absent at Pittsburg and Maryland? O.
Maybe the storyline pushed here by some is right. Maybe Canada was a mean, hard to work with guy and E is a fresh breeze of offensive known how who will work great with O and lead us back to the elite level. God, I hope so!

Yeah, you're making stuff up again.

Pardner, you can flip out any time you desire. I don't think you need a football loss to do so...

You could just answer the question instead of deflecting. Is there ever a loss that you deem worthy of flipping out over?
Posted on 9/2/18 at 12:16 pm to LSU Groupee
Wrong. We scored 27.2 a game last year. Not 25 as you claim.
You are correct though as Canada did not have O at Pitt or Maryland.

Absolutely.
But to arbitrarily say you're going to go ape shite over a loss when you have no idea what the score would be, or how the team looked in the game is pretty....feminine.

If we lose this one, it will be our fifth in fourteen games.
That would seem to be a statement about the current state of affairs surrounding LSU football worth getting exited over. Of course, the same could be said about a win. That's why this game at this time is very important to both O and LSU football.

Oh, they hated Canada - that's one of their big crying points against Eaux. They loved Hotlips - another big crying point. Now the idiots are happy because a guy they hated and swear was a bad hire, beat the guy they loved and all wanted as the LSU head coach. "As the Haters Turn". Ha Ha Ha Ha !!! The spin is dizzying at times on this board.
Now you are being disingenuous again.
YOU praised the Canada hire. You made several post about how great he was.
Then YOU flipped your narrative about him when he didn’t get along with Orgeron.
Now you are trying to turn this into some Canada vs Herman crap when that’s not even remotely what this is about. This is about the fact that Canada appears to actually be a good coordinator when he is allowed to run his offense.
