I'm the one that started the out of control thread.
I truly like Hawthorne. I love his voice, and I think he calls a good game.........BUT
He is slipping and his attitude and demeanor is getting worse every year.
I couldn't care less if he made mistakes, but if he brings a Black Cloud over the very event LSU is paying him to communicate to it's fan base, he needs to re-evaluate the job importance and how he wants to be remembered.
Get the burr out of your arse, Jim.

While Jim Hawthorne isn't perfect, he is adequate. What is puzzling is if one hates Hawthorne, why do you listen to him. Go to LSUSports.net and follow the game on live stats. Quit your bitching because he will be the play-by-play man until he retires. For Hawthorne haters, have a Great Day.

im not a huge fan of jim bc of the mistakes. a few here and there fine but it seems like they pile up with him. also lately he has gotten horrible with the doom and gloom. If LSU is down at any point its bad with him.
