When the ESPN guy covering the Super Regional this weekend makes the comment about how we have the best fans I know your skin will crawl.. And we both know its going to happen.

This is where the big misconception comes in. You see, we are proud to have some success in our athletic programs. It's a double-edged sword. I remember last year when a Tiger fan starting a thread on the rant complaining that we were #1 in the polls in baseball. I mean, seriously? You have six national titles to our zero. Can we just enjoy our moment without that type nonsense?
I've said this many times before. I personally don't care what LSU does. They win, good job. They lose, hey it happens. I worry about what we do.
A detailed, heartfelt response to a joke. You know this is a smack talk thread, right? Folks are having fun with you.
I have degrees from both USL and LSU. I was a fixture in the Cajun Dome in the late 80s.
