Trust me, I'm not complaining about the defense. The d had played like this all year, we wouldn't be in this bowl. The D was outstanding!

I'm very surprised at this outcome. It wasn't insane to think LSU would win this game but it would've seemed insane to think LSU would win 38-3. But now that I think about it, it's not terribly surprising because LSU has a great defensive line and GT runs a gimmick fluky triple option offense which masks LSU's secondary woes. Georgia Tech also only beat Gardner-Webb 10-7 earlier this year... beating 1-AA teams by such a score is usually an indicator that you're not that good.
