Guys, it wasn't always pretty, but I liked what I saw.

A little shakey but it was the first game for a first time starter at QB whose stats could have been better without some obvious pass protection issues.

We will be fine, we were obviously pushing the issue a bit with the passing game, whenever we can really gameplan and use play action we will be efficient.

Good game guys see ya next week.

One big thing that stuck out to me from this game is that our interior lines need work. They both looked bad and the D-Line got absolutely gashed up the middle. No excuse for missing so many tackles on those runs.

Both units better get ready to run, because they both underachieved all night.

Good win tigers, need to work on passing blocking and play action to go down field, but good game to start.

A win but clearly below standards: Perfect start. No harm record-wise but plenty of work to do. Nobody content. Keep the team hungry..

Most concern should be over the penalties. Too many substitution infractions. 2 TD's called back. Offense was intentionally very vanilla. Better opponent coming in next week. Looks like Boone and Wright are ready to step up at the receiver positions. Defense front 7 is freakishly good. JMHO

Explain freakishly good. I thought the DT's looked bad. The first one never made the tackle and they did not get enough pressure in the backfield. For what they are rated to be, I thought they stunk.

I hate scheduling snoozers like NoTX ST. I also hate it when LSU plays down to the level of the oposition. In this game I felt like our D was lacking something.

Liked the MettenCave on the sideline

"whenever we can really gameplan and use play action we will be efficient."

We just had 8 months to gameplan, knowing that everyone is going to be scrutinizing every little move Les makes because of our inability to have a competent balanced offense and we came out with the same exact offense with a couple downfield throws to shut everyone up that doesn't look closely.
