Those were not bad calls because forward progress was stopped.
Neither play had anything to do with forward progress....

You obviously didn't read my posts in the thread.
It was sarcasm.

Yeah that guy clearly can't detect sarcasm.
It's been obvious the entire time.

The officiating was horrible and it favored Iowa.... 2 bad call resulting in 14 pts!
The pick 6 was definitely a fumble but since it was not picked up by anyone and stayed in the end zone, the call was correct. Granted the ref probably shouldn't have called it a TD initially but I have never seen a situation when it wasn't called. The other call could have gone either way. The ball and his arm were moving forward in the direction of the throw. Seemed like the right call to me.
How can you blame the refs for an INT and shitty special teams? If Iowa's play calling wasn't atrocious it could have been a tie game late.

The pick 6
Jennings was held, mugged, and tackled on that return. Not saying Iowa would not have eventually scored, but the ball would have been around the 25 instead of the 1.5 yd line.

Did you watch the game? That was horribly officiated. Those type of calls get overturned less than one out of ten times for inconclusive evidence. Do you find it odd at all that the call resulted in an eventual touchdown that allowed Iowa to cover the spread. Why don't you GTFO you troll. BTW, why don't you worry about your own team and try to win a relevant game in the 2000's.
Yes I watched the game. The officiating was fine. Actually think Iowa got screwed on Hill's last TD run. There was a blatant take down/hold on the edge that was not called. But as they say, it's only holding if they throw a flag.
On a side note, LSU was CLEARLY the better team. Iowa just doesn't have the talent to compete vs athletic teams like that. I know people are quick to criticize him, but I think Ferentz is a much better coach than people think.

This post is perfectly indicative of an idiotic ranter.
We win against a solid team with a freshman QB who had one meaningful drive worth of experience. We commit very few penalties, our defense plays lights out, and we do what is necessary to win. The talent of the player gets credit over the coaching...that same talent threw a pick 6, and almost ran a play at the end of the game when he wasn't supposed to...but I'm sure that's all CLM's fault...idiot.

And yes I know tOSU is 1-2 in BCSNCGs but they are 6-3 in BCS bowls overall with the other loss to Texas in the last minute...a Texas team that was 1 play away from playing for the title. And we own Michigan.

Great Game with the Tigers leaving knowing they have a lot of work to do but they did not quit and they played 4 quarters

Exactly. Bitter people look for bitter things to bitch about.

I think owning Michigan or even the Big Ten for that matter is the equivalent of consistently finishing 4th in the SEC
