Flying into Tulsa Friday, the 11th around 11:30am

Getting a rental car to head to Fayetteville, should be there between 2-3pm

Taking a nap before finding Tigers to party with Friday night, not sure where to go yet.

No idea about kickoff time, but expecting an 11am kickoff. Hopefully watching other games and eating and drinking with other Tigers before and or after the Tigers beat the Hogs.

Flight leaves Tulsa around 4 on Sunday so leaving hotel in Fayetteville around noon.

Edit to say I may eliminate the nap and go walk around the campus before bar hopping Friday night.

We will be there Saturday morning. Taking our son through campus for a quick tour then try to find a spot to tailgate. We are in Arkansas suite tickets for the game so would like to see some tiger fans before game.

Most everyone will be out on Dickson street. Depending on your age/if you want to be around college students, I can tell you where to go. Most college students will be at Big, Yee-Hawg, Shotz, Tin-Roof, and West-End. If you are looking for an older crowd, try 21st Amendment or Dickson Street Pub. You could also go to the Square which is not far at all from Dickson (walking distance). There are more restaurants and bars there without college crowd. Pinpoint, Maxine's Taproom, and the Vault to name a few.

The tailgating scene is lackluster compared to B.R., but this is their super bowl.

Any particular restaurant would be good to hit? Will have our 16 year old with us so bars are out but would like to eat and have a couple drinks.

JJ's on Dickson is a really popular spot. It is a sports bar and grill. It will have a good atmosphere for your son, and y'all will be able to get a couple of drinks. Outside of that, there is a burger place in the square called Hugo's that is really good, and a gourmet grilled cheese sandwich place off of dickson called hammontrees.

Staying at the Baymont by Wyndham right off campus. Looks like it’s too far to walk to Dickson Street so hopefully Uber is popular around there.

I went to the Tin Roof in Lexington last year on the Friday night for the LSU Kentucky game and had a great time. It was a good mix of folks from their early 20s up to their 50s.

I have heard they have some really good tailgates. I have a friend that said a lot of the boosters own houses right off campus and they use them for tailgates

Fay is fun.

I’ve been to a few of these and have never been impressed by their tailgating. I can vouch for that Hammontrees place, however.

JJ’s is a good sports bar with good food, for LSUgrrrl and her kids.

Like someone else said, this is their super bowl. They have this very bizarre special hatred of LSU up here. It’s definitely not mutual but very annoying.

To be fair, once you are used to our tailgating it is hard to be impressed with anyone else's

any particular reason why you have a scheduled nap for a date several weeks away? I’m am just curious and not hating on you.

Assume you’re flying in from Europe?

This is true. I never think anyone has a very good tailgating scene so it’s probably because of how I grew up seeing it done.

Bump for game week.

LFG, rest up this week so we can be loud and support our Tigers.
