Reeves looks like a serious individual. Hard nose football guy.

Hot coach a few years ago but dismal failure at USC! But then again, the talent level at USC is way down! Defense ranked 78th out of 130.

Why is Gene Chizik not on the list?

I would say Wade Phillips but he is going to the Browns, which may be a short stay.

Why did the Saints move on from Bill Johnson and Greg McMahon? Those two seemed to work out well for LSU.

Don’t take my post wrong, it was just a curious inquiry because I didn’t remember Seattle being particularly bad on D his last season there.
I’ve started reading more on him and I’m liking him more if we are going to go the nfl route.

Totally understandable. Todays def athletes want to get to the nfl and a DC with NFL experience is the way to go. That's just my opinion, plus Richard did work with Carroll at USC as a grad asst. He knows the college game(recruiting) and NFL caliber defenses.

Joe Brady’s little known brother from the saints supporting staff. Diamond in the rough, 1 in a million chance.

He would have gotten the Baylor job with a hand written resume on a McDonalds wrapper. Trust me.

I agree, Blake Baker fits the bill as an upcoming young defensive mind.

Knowing Pelini’s personal experience, would be like oil and water with Ed O. I have to think that whomever it is, they will be an odd front oriented coach based on the personnel that we currently have defensively and the trend in football to be more 3 down
