Dave Aranda was one of the best coaches I have witnessed make necessary adjustments. I can't remember a coach that could change the game coming out of halftime like Dave. Best of luck to him

My source said he was told to be out looking. Glad he found a landing spot before the inevitable

I am surprised. I figured he’d hold out for USC or UCLA, but congrats to Dave. Baylor has become a good job.

Now is Orgeron’s chance to prove we’re not a one-hit wonder a la Auburn-Cam in 2020.

I heard O was going to fire him after the NC and bring in a real defensive coordinator

Surprised that he was going to give it that long but that’s why assistants have a want to coach with O. He treats them right even if their results don’t always match up.

I get your sarcasm, but I still prefer to not have memories of that actual scenario.

Woodward has a history of making grand slam hires.

Like Jimbo?

Yes, like Jimbo.

You want a coach that knows who he wants on his staff and am AD who knows how to get them. Woodward has shown he'll get his guy.

Congrats to Dave. Well deserved. Glad we were able to hold onto him as long as we did. Hope he does well there

LSU fans have already turned on him I see from some responses

It's disgusting, but we always do this. The only time it was really warranted to the level it reached was Saban. Tepper, Cameron, Miles were all symptoms of a larger problem - in Miles case, he brought us championships and winning like LSU had NEVER experienced before.

And many fans now shite on him like they do Curley.

Disgusting.

ETA: Congrats to Coach Aranda - one of, if not THE most outstanding defensive coach in all of college football today.
