Lets take for example the Sagrin computer?

They have LSU @ 64, Georgia @ 22 and USC @ 13 in terms of strength of schedule. I fail the see any logic behind this conclusion other than bias...sorry, my opinion

It's incredible that USC loses to an un-ranked team, and LSU loses on the road to a Top 10 team, yet USC gets a #5 ranking....

I am not reading this entire thread but how can Boise State and Utah be ranked higher than LSU? While a USC team who lost to Oregon St is ranked 5. Not to mention Florida is at 10. Are these guys smoking rope?

Do yourself a favor and post the games played by these teams. It is pretty obvious.

Right now, USC's schedule is much much tougher than LSU's. Ditto for UGA. Its not close and anyone being objective would see that. USC has played 6 BCS schools

Now USC's final schedule is crappy. Its just that USC plays their tough opponents early, LSU late

I think LSUMatt's prior assessment of your intelligence was spot on. The bias is your refusal to actually base your opinion upon the team's played to date. These ranking will obviously change over the next few weeks.

Matt in your future poll you are assuming that the higher team wins out, but you made an error. have put OU in there with a 2nd loss.

Yeah, I had Texas Tech beat OU.

Great info Matt.

Effectively, most of the issues will resolve themselves. At worst, Big 12 will be down to 1 contender, same with SEC, PAC 10, and Big 10. Will come down to which of those has only 1 loss. If all do, then I think Big 12 & SEC would get in on basis of human polls viewing of conference strength.

Best case for the Tigers is to win out and I think that will be enough. If not, let's hope Bama loses 2x, and lets still win the SEC and play USC in the Rose!

Note:

If OU wins out and doesn't make the Big12CG, the Colley future poll looks like:

1. Texas
2. OU
3. Pitt
4. PSU
5. LSU
6. Florida
7. SC

What I thought. OU is basically tied with USC in he human rankings. I would hate to see a rematch in the bcs nc game. I don't care who the teams are, I would really hate to see a rematch.

need to make a rule that you need to be conference champion to play, or just give conference champions a bonus point in the computers or something.

If this happens it will be the 3rd time an undeserving non-conf champ got in, and all 3 from the Big-12

Here it is, I do not see it. Is this schedule ranking dynamic? Does it change from week to week? Or is it just one persons personal opinion or formula?

In this rule would USC be allowed to play for a NC even if they tied with Oregon State in the Pac10?

If so, wouldn't that be bullshite if Texas and OU tied, each with one loss in the Big12, but you eliminated OU because the Big12 has a championship game?

I would say that if that were the case, then the conferences with under 12 teams would have to have a more clear cut way of determining a conf. champion.
