Glad you're back Matt. Your presence is needed at all times to calm us down if ever we think the season is over.
It's a great feeling to know we consistantly have a shot at the NC every single year. These are great times we live in!

I will never forget the day before the SECCG when you posted what had to go down to lead us to NOLA...obviously LSU over UT, OU over Mizzou, and impossibly Pitt over WVU!
Somehow all 3 teams came through!!!!!!
Keep up the #s matt.

I'm glad Matt's here already....
MNF is playing, and I just realized how long the NFL season is going to be with the way the Saints are playing, and how exciting the CFB season is going to be...

you have to be 2 spots above in the computers.
Yes, thanks. I got the overall weighting; I was confused as to how the computers weighed SOS, but I kind of see it now.

They all weight SOS differently. But a few things:
1) Its pretty hard (but definitely not impossible) for a BCS team to be ahead of another BCS school if they have more losses. So SOS doesn't carry that much weight.
2) SOS is based on the ranking in that same poll. If Utah is unranked in the AP poll but ranked #10 in the ColleyRankings. Its the #10 ranking that is relevant.
3) Your top opponents really matter. The computers care little if you beat a #80 team vs a # 120 team

Well, that makes these rankings meaningless.
