How big of a loss is this, considering Jacoby Jones is very likely to make it to campus? I'm sure a spot could be found for Cechinni, but I guess at this point is better than losing a pitcher.
Not a big loss. After Cecchini was drafted by the Red Sox everyone had a gut feeling he would sign. He may have come out and made statements over the summer, however his father wanted him to take the money now.

Well done, sir. You have seen past my cryptic words to the message underneath. (I am way too bored @ work)

@mloyko54 I'm inclined to say yes on all of them. Very confident Ranaudo, Workman, Coyle and Cecchini sign. Not as much on other 2. #RedSox

Not a big loss.
You mean not an unexpected loss. Not having Garin Cecchini will be a very big loss for the LSU baseball program.

Yes, Garin has never been "a part" of the LSU baseball team so it's not entirely a big loss. Secondly Garin wasn't expected to make it through the draft and Jacoby Jones falling to the 19th round in my opinion leaves reason for hope.

Where do you put him next year assuming Jacoby Jones doesn't sign?

Adam can you edit your post to say the deadline is 11pm central, so we eliminate the posts asking?

the guys with the bold LSU has said they are staying put?
Posted on 8/15/10 at 10:41 pm to Elleshoe
It's a combination of them saying they are 100% going to LSU along with them moving in, etc...
I haven't put Gausman in bold do to the fact anything can happen tomorrow, but Kevin is currently at LSU in his apartment and will be starting orientation tomorrow.
