Also, Zach Lee will miss the afternoon practice today. He and his family will be negotiating with the Dodgers in Baton Rouge. His parents are acting as his advisors.

When Les closed the afternoon practice it didn't take Sherlock Holmes to figure this out.

from a very very reliable source, Leblanc signed for $500,000

Even if Lee was/is leaning LSU, the Dodgers would still negotiate with him. Take it as a good sign that they are meeting him in Baton Rouge and not the other way around or in his hometown.

Workman (2nd round) gets $800k
Coyle (3rd round) gets $1.3M and
Cecchini (4th round) gets $1.75M
thanks Sox
I can't wait to see what AR gets
If the pattern holds true it looks like he'll get around $350K.

Nah, talking with his family, the number is 3m or college and even then he may still stay. Those parents really want him to get a college education. That's why they didn't want him to have anything to do with an advisor.

we'll see. I think 2 million gets it done.

2 mill aint as much as it seems. He'll pay almost half of that in taxes. If he really has 1st round qb potential he could get himself anywhere from $10 - $50 million guaranteed. In which case a three or 4 year college investment could yield him 5 - 25x more money.

I think that they'll easily offer this, plus throw on college money for his degree. I'll bet the real # for Lee is $2.75 million. We'll see soon enough.

Adam, your thoughts so far?
I think we thought that Leblanc was a goner due to the situation with his kid.
Also, I thought Cecchini and Gausman would be gone as well as Zach Lee, Deshields and Bedrock, and AR too. From what I have seen, no shocks, although it does piss me off that LSU gets screwed again. Same thing as NSD and I am sure i will be pissed again next year holding our breath.

No one knows what the owners will do to the current NFL draft compensation system if the lock out occurs. They are sick of overpaying college players that are busts. The Dodgers have shitty ownership, but 2.75M offsets a lot of issues.
