We played well, we also showed why we arent an elite program yet. Our offense melted down trying to hit too many 3s in a row. Our field goal percentage was high when we had them on the ropes then we just started taking low-percentage shots. We stopped running our offense and stopped rebounding. We got desperate and it showed. Good teams calm down and get back down to the basics and running the offense.
All in all, Im very proud of this team. Trent has this program headed back in the right direction. A great turn around in just one year. Last year we didnt even make the NIT. This year we lost to UNC. Cant really complain too much for losing to the Tar Hills. Trent just needs to recruit well.

Depends if we can get some help from JC player who is ready to play. If Taz comes back, etc. We are set at point finally. When we have inside men we don't have a point guard and vise versa.

Helluvan effort by the Tigers. Kudos to Trent Johnson. We've got a lot to look forward to in years to come and this year was quite the surprise.

And when the officiating tide began to turn , around that grabbing foul by Chris Johnson, one official was aggressively pointing at the fouling players--really ugly. Totally unnecessary.

Let me tell you something. At key points in a game officials have as much to do with who the winner is gonna be just as much as the players do.
In the 8 to 5 minute mark NC fouled LSU and it was not called and it led to turnovers.
Not saying we would have won but the officials saw one team on the floor committing fouls in a critical time.
Congrats to NC it doesnt matter much anyway now.
But to say that officials dont win or lose games for teams is not correct.

I thought it was a great game. Very exciting. I would have been satisfied no matter who won.
