Crowton blew. Miles made the right call getting rid of him and if anything, shoulda done it one year earlier.
Absolutely. We can totally agree on this.

Hence, I'm not emotionally invested with him. But, I know a player fricking when I see one. If anything, the emotional investment seems to have been Miles'. I have no reason to like EITHER QB on a personal level. I don't know them. Miles is the one who knows them.
I'm not talking about you in this instance. Your opinion on miles is emotionally invested in jarret lee, that much is obvious. I was talking about doc.

no doubt miles can recruit and hired a great d coordinator, but the offense sputtered before the nc game and notjing was done to fix it.that is the problem with miles he never adjusts until it's too late

I understand what you are saying. I worded my response a little to harsh.

Can you expand on how great fisher is doing at Florida state since he took over?

why do you insist discussing anything except les miles and his shortcomings.i give him credit for the things he does well, but you refuse to accept the things he does poorly.why is that?

As a fan of LSU, the one thing I have learned with Miles at the helm is that he says one thing and does the other. What coach on earth other than Miles would have reduced the snap count and finally benched the QB who led the SEC in passing efficiency?
Going 13-0 while overcoming many off the field distractions, including one outside of his control (Kragthorp's parkinsons diagnosis) made many forget Miles' prior brain farts.
Well he shite his drawers in front of the entire nation Monday and will be under enormous pressure to prove that this past season was not a fluke and he really does have more that two brain cells to rub together.

I'm afraid I'm on the side of those that say nothing that Les Miles says about his plans for the team should be given the slightest credence whatsoever.

Not at all. I am not saying miles is perfect and doesn't have flaws. Offensive philosophy needs to change a bit. If I had my way, I would have liked to see Mett more this last season.
In defending miles in this thread, it is not to defend what happened last Monday night or to defend qb positions. It is to defend him from the ridiculous beliefs that he is incompetent and incapable. Because he has proven that is false.
The program has a bright future.

If not, your post is a bunch of continued bullshite that I have come to expect from you.
Ironic coming from the Rantard leader of TeamSwag, who spent weeks convincing us the SECCG was an anomaly, and that JJ was going to light it up in the BCSCG.

To be fair, I never once said JJ was going to light it up in the BCS championship game. I have never even once said that JJ was a good qb, ever. I only defended the coaches starting him.
Those are facts. You are just mad that not everyone was a big lee fan.

why would you support the decision if you think he's not a good qb

Because I don't think either are good qbs.

So much truth in this. And that worries me.

I am not a big Lee fan (as a person, yes, a QB, not so much), so why would I be mad if someone else isn't? He was better than the joke that we had playing in the last 2 games, but that isn't elevating him to Elway status.
I have said all season that it is likely that the best QB's on the team were riding the pine. Your rhetoric about how exciting it was that JJ was starting, and what he brought to power our offense, was only eclipsed by a few posters that were obviously family members that can almost be forgiven for their blindness to his ineptitude.
