Period!! Now let's put this game behind us and go take care of business for the rest of the year. I won't be surprised at all if State has a shot at the upset!

State will give better effort than we gave last night.

Well...Grime's guys just got abused. No one will mistake them for the best OL in the nation anymore. Frankly, I was more disgusted and surprised by their play than any other position group, although the KOR team gave them a run for the money albeit with much less expectations.

I knew it was gonna be difficult to run on Bama but it wasn't even competitive, we looked like a HS team. I dont get how we could have been so bad. Are we really that bad?

No they should not. Alabama has the best DL in the country. I dont know why anyone at LSU was expecting to dominate them. You have to make adjustments. Plenty of teams had success on Bama this season. LSU used the same old bag of dogshit, and then you people are surprised it stinks?

They were tasked with the near impossible. Alabama's safeties had a field day meeting Fournette at the LOS.

Bama played the run with the best run defense in college football. Think about that. The best front 7 in college football played to stop the run because they knew that's all they had to do.

Please stop no we are not that bad they have freaks along the d line. The game of football has so many variables. How could Ole Miss beat and hang over 40 on the team we played last night? How could Tennessee play them so close?

Adrian Peterson couldn't get a yard with LSU blocking that's a damn shame. They didn't shut Fournett down they shutdown LSU period in all 3 areas off, def, and special teams that's sad.

Oline was beat but it was CLM and Cam's fault. Bama's players knew what we were going to to as soon as we lined up. We ran 3 or 4 different formations so Bama had nothing to guess. Conversely Saban and Kiffin ran about 20 different formations and kept our defense off balance all night.

Coaches fault in not adjusting or adding anything new. Besides LF and BH, only one other back, Williams, touched the ball ONCE.

No imagination, and as I stated in another post, Les is hard headed and will show you by God his way is the only way.

It was a little more than just the O Line. Our D wasn't exactly burning down the woods either. We really need to develop some depth at fullback if we are going to run out of a Power I set. It's not the same with Moore not being out there. I doubt he will be 100% until January, even though he might play before then. They need to develop about three more fullbacks in a bad way in the off season.

I want to know why in the fckin hell did Les and O-line coach believe we would have success running straight at Bama.

What did you expect exactly? Please tell me what you expected LSU to do?

They have been dominated by Bama DL coincidentally every season. Interesting you thought this season was going to be different.

True story...outcoached for sure but truth is they have the best front 7 in football and we're very mediocre with ours...

As painful as it is to admit, Bama was better prepared. They seemed to know exactly what we were trying to do. Art of war.
