Offensive Line for next year.
our o line was better last year
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

All of a sudden Herman " I got no footspeed and can't block shite" Johnson is goge, we will be better. We were the sorriest we have been since 1999 last year. We couldn't run block for shite and it put WAY too much pressure opn our QB and RB's. That Line SUICKED!!!. If you don't believe me see the NFL Draft. Johnson's "stock" has steadily plummeted. He ill not play tackle in the NFL. He is WAY too slow.

But the ace in the hold is No. 53 T-Bob Hebert, 6'3", 260, RSFR, people who knows him says he is the real deal

Remember his Sr year in high school, he was awarded the best OL in the state by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper. Very athletic kid that will do well at OC.

Anyone want to guess what position his Dad played his Jr. year in high school football?

Actually, quite the opposite. I think the line is going to be a source of concern, especially in the first few games. There's young talent there to be sure, but if we aren't healthy at center and if Dworaczyk doesn't step up, we could see some problems there. Hopefully Coach Stud gets them ready to play, certainly there is some raw talent there.

Can one of you highly educated posters please post the correct pronounciation of Dworaczyk? Seems more vowels are needed. Thanks -

Vowels are $500 each, I'm guessing you don't have that much in your account.

260 is a major problem against future NFL D-linemen.

Current roster has T-Bob listed at 282...can see him playing at about 300 with no problem.

The line average should end up around.

6'4" 299#'s

I like that size...

I like T-Bob in the middle, with Hitt on his side we will be just fine.

It's a little shameful that Miles (former O-lineman) isn't getting the bulky recruits from his midwest region. You would think Miles would have the connection to his home state of Ohio and even Michigan, which both have traditionally been hot beds for o-line recruits. Who was the recruit from Alabama that was around 6'6, 340?

Apart from UF and OM we ran well and our OL performed well. Our problems last year (as is well known throughout the world of rantdom) were mostly two: Thing 1: horrible defense (which BTW is what put too much pressure on our offense) and Thing 2: porous play at QB.

Not sure about midwest recruiting but Miles has signed numerous o-lineman that should be good in the future. Chris Faulk and Stavion Lowe are two guys from this last signing class that should be good.

Josh Williford from Dothan, Alabama. He could be a good one, but he needs to be redshirted IMHO. He's a great athlete and has some agility and speed for a guy his size, but his technique needs work. He never needed much coaching going against poor competition every week.

As far as this year's line, I think it will be fine by the time October comes around. Hebert and Dworzyck just need a little experience. Remember, Ciron Black and Lyle Hitt are experience guys that will come through. Look for Barksdale to have a decent year too.
