Peetz - OC
Mangus - PGC
Calloway - QB
Faulk - RB
Joseph - WR
Cregg or who ever Peetz wants as OL
Make Cregg reapply for his job essentially.

TE stay with WR and learn to block from O line or GA coach

Munoz back as abs analyst.

I 'member when one coach could essentially do all these.

There used to be a time when the head football coach could also be the athletic director. Things change and when they added a 10th assistant this opened up these sorts of things. More minds are working together. Don’t see the problem at all with it.

I don't think you're going to see 6 coaches on the offensive side of the ball. Mangus would likely be an analyst.

I was kinda joking. But we only have 10 slots for coaches, do we need 1 each for OC, PGC, WR, and QB? I'm guessing that it'll probably be only 3 guys filling those roles in some configuration.

We won’t need a qb coach if peetz is the OC. The guy has qb coach experience from the nfl for multiple years

You think LSU will roll with 6 offensive assistants and 3 defensive assistants?

And this coming off the worst defense in school history? For real?

What defensive coordinator would agree to this?

The 5/4 split we currently have is barely tolerable.

excellent point.

Shadow staff mitigates the pain of a ratio like that, but you are right... that's not manageable.

I'll use a Gump example of how to adjust year over year. Some years Napier was a WR coach, some years he was shadow staff (but still going to HS's, I witnessed that first hand in North LA). Some year Burton Burns was a RB coach, other years he was admin/analyst/shadow staff (and Saban's chauffeur, also witnessed that first hand in SE Texas- allowing him to also make visits to HS's and living rooms).

So you can do movement back and forth, and if willing to work around rules keep your (or most?) of your on the field coaching intact and if willing to outright break rules keep your guys recruiting.
