Of all years, this has to be the year we don't have a defense

Why couldn't we have the past 15 years worth of defense when we finally have the best offense?

Do you understand that the defense has been on the field 2 and 3 times the possession amounts as previous years?? We score alot of points now and we do it very quickly...

Might have my years mixed, but 2013 was Metts senior year and the same thing happened. At least this time we have an elite offense vs an above average.
I'm not convinced Aranda is worth $2.5mill/per, but when the D is healthy they have looked good- which they haven't been much all year. The sky isn't falling, Ole Miss was a good scheme offense with a special player.
Remember, we are everyone's super bowl from here on out. We will get everyone's best and cheapest shots. This ain't gonna be easy....

How many years did our offense go 3 and out and put the defense right back on the field for a lot of plays and they never played this bad? Poor tackling, poor angles, missed assignments are not a talent problem, that’s a coaching problem.

Quite true, but I think our d is good enough for this team to go all the way. Not good, but just good enough imo.

Everyone is tired of that weak excuse. What about all the years our offense was 3 and out and our defense was on the field the whole game? It's called good conditioning.

Yep all our D is doing is giving up less than we score every single game. Somehow I thought that is what the D was supposed to do.

that has been debunked as the reason why the D sucks lately. they are not being worn out by us scoring too fast or others keeping them on field too long like that texaa drive in the second half.
keep defending the indefensible lack of adjustment, terrible tackling, gap assignments, etc

that CAN happen but that is not what is doing this. that has been debunked. find more excuses. see my post above. the D has not looked drained since that long drive against against texas second half. keep making excuses.
