I was RE-watching the highlights of game 3 last night and lol’d in the first. Florida had hit a home run and one of the announcers says “has there ever been a team in America as hot as this Florida team is right now”.

He was about to see what a hot team looked like.

What a run.

Lol I’ve gotten a good laugh at that quote each time I’ve watched the game 3 highlights.
To be fair, I believe Langford had gotten on base 7 or 8 AB’s in a row at that point with 2 HR’s, but Hurd turning around after giving up the 2-run bomb and striking out Cagliogne leading into our offensive explosion immediately after was an incredible/awesome momentum shift

I still watch the highlights of the games we won everyday on YouTube!

The clinching game against Wake contains the two highlights I watch the most: Morgan’s throw to home and White’s two-run blast to win it!

quote:

quote:Hymel and Mouton were the only guys on that team that could have started for the 23 team Obviously you can't really compare the 2 teams that way. The talent in college baseball today is significantly higher than it was back then. This team would smoke most teams from the 90s. You have to look at it as how good was this team relative to the rest of the field this season

2 dumbasses right here living proof.

So you 2 nimrods are saying Chad Ogea, who won 2 WS games and Mike Sirotka who was also a MLB starter would not have started on the weekends of this team. HOW ABOUT 89? McDonald? Paul Byrd? Curtis Leskanic? Chad Ogea? Russ Springer? Keith Osik? I mean NONE OF THEM COULD HAVE PLAYED FOR THIS TEAM - NO WAY IN HELL.

Y’all act like Jeff Bagwell, Barry Bonds, Frank Thomas and so on were really bad because that’s who these guys would have pitched to among other like Albert Joey Bell, Sosa, McGuire, canseco and every other user.
It is a good thing baseball was just invented.

fricking dumbasses
