I think the student body will respond to the campaign. All it ever takes is a little leadership and the players and coaches talking directly to them.
When I was in school, there were times when the basketball crowd was directly addressed by Dale Brown, either to take it up or take it down a notch. The student body always listened to Coach Brown.

They added "cock" to the end. The song got faster as it went on so there wasn't time for the "cock" eventually but enough for the ban hammer

I do find it funny that like, 85% of the student body (and 95% of greeks) pride themselves on "being classy southerners" and yet...

Me too. They could of done nothing and we could have more piped in music and less band. It may backfire but at least they are acknowledging the fact that they need to bring these songs back for the sake of the atmosphere in tiger stadium. like it or not something had to be done. They are giving the students another chance, why ruin it?
