OBJ was Metts favorite target! Without Mett I seriously doubt he has another 1000+ receiving year

The draft analysts I heard lately aren't saying 1st round for Freak or Collins. They are saying 1st for Beckham.

His draft stock will probably decline next season because they wouldn't compare to his stat's this year. Seriously don't think he would have 1,000+ receiving next year.

Here's a quiz for you... match the WR stats with his overall 2013 draft position.

90 catches - 1335 yards - 5 TD (up from 34 for 542, and 4TD the year before)
57 catches - 679 yards - 3 TD (up from 49 for 668, but down from 12TD the year before)

Your draft position options are 59 and 197.

It would be nice if either him or JL came back for another season. It would definitely help out Jennings.

I don't think money is his issue. His parents have a good bit of money. The issue is can he accomplish anything else at LSU

I think it's possible he catches Reed's school receiving yards record. He's at 2289 with a bowl game left. Reed had 3001.

Eta SEC record holder is Terrence Edwards at 3,093.

but i doubt it once he realizes how much money he can make.

His decision I think is whether the likelihood that he'll get bumped back because of his back. He'll have to pass a physical but the NFL franchises may not take a chance on an early pick if they think he has a "chronic" condition. Hopefully LSU could medically correct whatever is his problem if he comes back. Hate for him to have this happen. He is one of the best. How blessed we as fans are to have seen him play here.

This would be great, and I kind of suspect that Beckham's parents will have a say in this; this kid will want a degree, and I think he is all about LSU.

While they are normal middle class folk, they are not typical Newman cash level.......I.e. old New Orleans money. Odell is in car sales I believe. Key is that he was brought up a levelheaded, smart guy.
