ZERO..........No chance. Zip. Nothing will change. Same stuff next year.

We lost the bama game because of the D. Should we get a new DC?

quote:True. Ultimate loss in lap of Chavis. But take a look back at our performance in/getting to the red zone in this same game. Nothing much to write home about, eh? That wasn't the D.
We should have beaten Bama & out played them for the entire game until the last 2 minutes. We lost because of Chavis & his prevent defense, because he gave the receivers too much cushion!
LSU needs a real OC.

As this is approximately the 21st time this has come up in the last mth, and the comments are still the same, I'll try a different approach. I've been a season ticket holder since 1961 & I can never remember when LSU fans were happy bout our OC's. Jimbo had a brief honeymoon & then he was vilified like all the rest. So, who has been our best OC in the past decade or so? On a consistent basis?

I remember when there "fans" bitching that Saban had put handcuffs on Jimbo.
There is no reasoning with people that think that Madden is real football.

There is also no reasoning that we should run option with a non mobile qb either.

Jimbo.

Fire the coach who keeps wanting Mett to be an option qb

You know that't not happening

And if the consensus is Jimbo, consider how long he stayed as the OC. Not long. Which is the point. LSU fans will never be happy with any OC beyond one flashy season or 2.

Before Jimbo left a good portion of the fanbase was pissed and called him predictable because he ran a lot of bubble screens. Since then I realized some LSU fans just want to be surprised by plays.

Is the only that has kept us from winning titles
I love clueless clowns who forget it was the defense who let Alabama drive down the field on them in a fricking minute to take the west away from us.

We can crap on the passing game all we want and I have done it myself, but we had the West won with 90 secs to go in the game and we averaged almost 275 yds passing in our last 4 games.
Bingo!
It's amazing that folks don't realize the progress the offense made from the beginning of the season to the end. As it stands right now, we don't need a new OC. But we DO need to see continued improvement. You don't change OC when you have a QB like Mett coming back for his senior season. If you're gonna make the change then do it when you've got someone new coming into the position. Mett will be fine next season with Stud and Kragthorpe running the offense.

Legit passing attack. All WRs, 4 O-Linemen, all RBs, and QB return. There is no excuse for a poor passing game next season.
This will be the fifth or sixth consecutive year we have invented reasons on why the passing game will be better next year. Just sayin.

Maybe we should have hot shot passing games like the two teams in the BCS NCG

Nobody gained more on the 2012 gumps than Miles, Studthorpe and Associates.

Play calling cost us both L's this year
One more FD and we are beating the Irish

What is it that you folks don't understand? Did we not win 10 games this year? Playcalling may have cost us 1 win at Florida, and that's even questionable due to the injuries.
Sorry you missed the 'bama game. It was exciting.
