Bash away, but if he does the things he needs to (which I think he will) then I fully expect him to be the guy next year.

What in the ever loving Christ about Miles has EVER shown you he'd do this?

For frick's sake. He started Welter half this year!!!!

He will start the first game next year, no doubt IMO

NOW, even if Harris were to manage to win the job next year, he will go in as a guy with a grand total of one start under his belt.

Please stop with this crap. He has gotten more playing time and experience that Manzel or Winston got, just to name a few. You guys are over-reacting here as usual. If he takes the necessary steps to improve certain things next year, he will be there.

It's as if people have never met Miles' coaching before.

Yet it was Harris and his arm who rifled the ball down to Dupre through two defenders leading to an easy rushing TD. When Jennings came in against the second teamers, and had multiple red zone series he produced nothing.

Point is Harris was not ready, but we should have stayed hitched to that wagon the remainder of the way. Kid is far superior to Jennings.

No way in F'n hell Miles benches AJ in the opening game when he started him the whole damned season prior. If Miles was even remotely going to consider such a thing, he'd play Harris significantly the next two games. Wanna bet on if he does?

yep, Miles never plays younger guys that he thinks are better....you guys are unreal. I get it, there is nothing to prove you wrong right now, so bash away. The funny thing is that you don't know what's really going on there, but it's cool to always pull for the backup.....just like the Auburn game. I suspect though that fans have been wanting the backup for as long as football has existed.

Did I say that?

Nope.

Meh. I don't know if Harris will be better. But, I do know Miles aint benching an incumbent QB starter for the season opener. That f'n aint happening.

Oh. And if Harris IS worse than AJ, then we have had the biggest catastrophe of recruiting at QB in the last 4 decades of LSU football. That means we had 4 QBs no better than the shite we've seen on the field this year.

I certainly agree with you. These kids don't know anything, and certainly what some of the real issues are...hell, when Miles did insert Harris, they simply blamed the coaches for his poor showing.......you seem to be logical, and you may also know what some of the real issues are. I think if BH takes care of those, he will be starting out of the gate next year. It's funny the posters on here that think they are smarter than miles and that he deliberately wants to sabotage the team.

Coaches make errors that are identified all the time by non-coaches. Stop acting like this has never happened.

Oh. And I'm not a "kid" unless pushing 50 qualifies.

Just like he wasn't going to start him on the road in a hostile environment right?

Two completely different things.

Oh. And you noticed that since BH was awful that game, Miles went right back to "safe". Of course, "safe" in this case = completely incompetent but hell, since we know that, we just wont let him throw anyway.

Literally the ONLY positive one could claim for AJ is he doesn't turn the ball over...........except.........well, he does unless we are able to just run over the team.

By the way. I actually think Miles coached a very good game this weekend. Zero issues with his game day coaching. If you're gonna play AJ, then what we did was about as good of a plan as you could hope for.

And, I think the first pass call in OT was superb(minus the drop which aint coaching).

I'm merely talking about the QB position here.

They made it pretty clear that they want Harris to start but he just isn't ready. By next fall he will have a year and a half under his belt and since he is already more talented, he will take the starting spot. If you think he has an arm now, I cannot wait to see him sling it when he's packed on some muscle.
