Part of me thinks he needs to slide down and we elevate Dugas back to lead off, but I think CJJ will give him an opportunity to right himself today vs A&M’s Sunday starter.

We were lucky White & Jones came to play after Kling & Morgan finished 0-10 with 2 walks.

Dugas is perfect for the 5 hole. Kling is perfect for the lead off when he’s on. I wouldn’t mind seeing Pearson lead off if Kling continues to struggle though.

Kling just needs some experience at this level and he’s gonna blow up

would not be surprised if you see a LH hitting leadoff today. Pearson or maybe Morgan

Kling has shown he’s got the chops for lead off, just adjusting to SEC pitching. Before this series he’s shown awesome discipline at the plate going deep into counts and a great eye. He can hit the ball all over the field and has good wheels on the base path.

I think we give him a few more games in this spot.

Pearson needs a chance up there. Kling was guessing every at bat yesterday.

Yes but right now he is seeing the plate much better than Kling. Multiple walks and multiple hits this weekend.

Kling is good at baseball. He’ll be fine at leadoff. Patience.

Going to have growing pains with a true freshman. Keep him in the spot, let him figure it out.

If they keep putting up 12 runs, you have plenty of leash for that young man to gain valuable experience.

Kling also needs to adjust to SEC umpires. These shite umpires have been crap the last two games. Guys do not know what the hell to swing at!!!

Speed on the bases and sets up our thumpers. But he has to get on base.

100%. As we know, if crews doesn’t get that bloop shift hit. The top three would be 0-15. It really shows how this lineup is great throughout. He has a leash for now because the lineup can/will pick him up

Ark and Tenn on deck. Runs may be scarce.
