I better stop now. No need to get further embarrassed by your sharp wit and keen acumen when it comes to humor.

I suppose it would take anyone quite a bit of time to dig us out of the current domestic mess. You know, the one that Bush & his cronies had a ton to do with?

Excuse me? The housing mess that was caused by Democrats running Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac (two of Obama's largest campaign contributors) to give loans to people who otherwise could not get loans because they weren't credit worthy? Follow the money....you might be surprised where it leads.

I sincerely hope every single one of you who keeps using the Rant as a place to vent your frustration @ Obama feels to fricking weight of a thousand worlds crashing down on your shoulders tomorrow night...just like the rest of us normal folk did 4 years ago.
I love the looks on their faces when all of the votes start coming in!

You might be surprised that the Federal Reserve had much more to do with the housing crisis than the two mortgage companies you mentioned. Likewise, predatory lending was not something those two companies were charged with. But, and begging your forgiveness, doesn't that pale (somewhat) in comparison to the banking collapse? The one that sent shivers through Wall Street? The failure of those very businesses that GWB & McCain say giving tax breaks to would lead to job creation?

I'll tell you what: you tell me what single position has shown income growth over the past eight years during every quarter that it was recorded.

I'll tell you something. I'll tell you the single group of people who stand to gain the most over the next four years under Obama: those who don't care to work, those who want to take but not give, those who don't know what capitalism and the creation of wealth is....in other words, those who don't stand for everything that this great nation was founded on.

I guess it is no suprise that there is an enormous amount of ignorance on this board. We have had the worst President in the history of this country over the past 8 years and Obama is the anti - Christ? I guess this is why states like Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, etc. continue to be in the bottom ten in education, quality of life, and poverty level. A Black person can sing, dance, jump, and play football for you, but they can't become President! Why don't you start a movement to boycott all Blacks from playing football at LSU to further support your way of thinking!

This isn't, nor should it ever be, about color. It's all about what the individuals stand for. One, gave up his own freedom for his country...in a time when he was an unknown. The other, well, he stands for unions, socialism, punishing those who strive for greater things, etc.

When did it become Anti American to pay taxes? If Obama is a terrorist, why in the world do we not arrest him and try him for treason? When did it become a bad thing to advocate for the middle class? The same middle class that purchases homes, buy autos, deposit money in banks, buy insurance, you know, serve as the engine for the economy. If one studies history, one will see that a major part of the great depression happened because businesses produced tons of products and the people who busted their arses to make the products could not afford them. To me, it looks like history repeating itself. As for as McCain, I like, everyone else appreciates the service that he put in for this country. I use to like him, but choosing Palin IS NOT putting this country first and therefore I will be casting my ballot for the Obama.

This is what I don't get. Why does everyone make a big deal about Palin having little to no experience when her job as VP will be a drop in the hat compared to the job of the President...and yet many don't bother questioning Obama's experience. It makes no sense. And the other thing I don't get is that Palin is everything you just described...middle class. She is not the typical Washington crowd...and I think this is what makes her perfect for Washington. You contradicted yourself...so don't begin to tell me that Palin is the reason you are voting for Obama.

Obama will take scoring points from one team and give them other teams "less fortunate" in point scoring. Heck, he'll even make sure teams that don't even play football get some of the points. Take from the teams rich with points and "spread the wealth".

Obama, this is for you .......

This will more or less be my last post on this subject. To be quiet blunt, Palin is about as dumb as they come. If you take away the teleprompter and McCain sequestering her from real journalism, not the Fox crap, she would be further exposed for having a substantial lack of intelligence.

Palin was elected in 2007. She has spent a quarter of that time or more away from the state capitol at her home. I will go out on a limb and say she was not focusing on State work. It is 08 and she has been campaigning for a couple of months now. The point here is this, how detailed is this executive experience you speak of? Even in small cities and towns, the city administrator runs the city in a full time position, not the mayors. This would include Wasilla. Again, I liked McCain, but this was a poor decision.
