wasn’t hired “instead of” Herman or Fisher. Those two turned us down. They weren’t coming here. So to say we hired him instead of those two is like saying all three of them will come, we have to pick who we want and that we picked O..

Youre not remembering the Herman alleva issue correctly. Herman in no way turned lsu down. In fact it looked like lsu had a soft agreement with Herman until he told alleva he wanted to see Texas' offer. Alleva then pulled the offer and hired O. There was no search. Alleva offered the 2 most obvious coaches, got his panties in a wad, and offered O.

I dont think this is entirely true. Jimbo wanted to be here and even said as much before ending the conversation. Tom Herman, allegedly could have been had for what we offered Jimbo. Joe pursued them on paper, but he did so knowing that he could fall back on Orgeron if he made it seem like he went after them.

I disagree. It's time to say hey, hes been coach for three seasons, how long is fair to reach an attainable, measurable goal that shows improvement.

You're right.....we were gonna coming roaring back from 2-2 and win it all with Miles leading the charge with his smoking-hot offense right?

I have no doubt miles couldve had the same record O has had since taking over.
O is producing the same win loss numbers yet for some strange reason you think miles couldnt have won just as much.

You're right I don't....and if the powers that be didn't think we was circling the drain....they would not have let him go.
The offense had reached the biohazard toxicity level.

Miles would have had the same record, or better (I don't think he loses to Florida) as the O show in '16.

Or you're too stupid to count. I'd put my money on the latter.

Actually
2018 32.5
2015 32.8

That's right. I was only referencing where the offenses were ranked nationally. In my haste to submit my post before calling it a night on the rant, I didn't even look at how many points we averaged per game during the 2015 & 2018 seasons.

My bad. Nice catch Rick.

And thats with playing a mod major in the bowl games and having 2 games worth of scoring in a single game(a&m)

Exactly. The offense scored 24 points in regulation (plus a defensive TD) against A&M and scored 41 points in the 7 overtimes.

This confirms you have the IQ of a doormat. You can't prove this tidbit of stupidity that you typed out..because there's no data. For all we know he finishes 6-6 like he started...2-2.

Just becuae you believe it....doesn't mean it would have happened. You and Rick just said the exact thing. WTF is wrong with you two?

It's called analyzing past data to extrapolate future possible results. The scary thing is that we have more substantive data to support that position than you do to support a position that O will lose less than three games next season.

Yikes.

But he also started against 2 of the best defenses we faced all year

O went 0-2 vs the other 2.

I think Les goes 6-2 after auburn but it wouldn’t have been by as wide a margin.

That's the way it should be for any current LSU Head Coach, no matter matter who.

Nah, Les has something wrong with him. He's ill or something. Great recruiter but he's better fitted where he is.

we got beat by teams that had the #1, #12 and #23 ranked rushing defenses in the nation that year.

Know why? We were one dimensional

Harris was 6 outta 19 for 128 yards with one TD and one interception against Bama. That sucks.

Harris was 21 outta 35 for 271 yards with one TD and one interception against Arkansas.

Harris was 26 outta 51 for 324 yards with one TD and two interceptions against Ole Miss.

His stats against Bama were bad, but it's amazing to me that you would shite all over his stats against Arkansas and Ole Miss.

But to each their own.

Yes, of course. Is it the word "possible" that made you think that? You're barely above being illiterate.

Nope. You can go back and check my posts before the season started. I had him winning 8 games. He exceeded my expectations by one win. And you and your ilk are wanting to throw him a ticker tape parade.

The only thing that saved us was that Etling's family knew Cam so he got an invite and transferred.
I thought the narrative read like Harris was Cam's boy?
