He wants to run a pro style offense but that just isn’t the game anymore.
The Pros aren’t even that anymore. Pete Carroll even has a mobile QB.

If you have the talent that the early 2000 USC team had, you'd be just fine running that style of offense.
Very few - if any - have that kind of talent.

There is a reason a million guys throw for 4000 yards in college and don’t even get looks in the NFL. System QBs
But when you only have a guy for 4 years it makes sense to have a system instead of trying to teach an 18-22 year old how to run an NFL offense.

I bet "The Binder" is a copy/paste of whatever Carroll used with "USC" searched and replaced with "LSU."

1. You can recruit a DT to run a pro offense. We should all know that.
All those recruit were just the available high ranking southern recruits.
There was 1 top 10 pro style QB in the south and he wasn’t that highest recruited.

Pete Carroll knows what he is fricking doing Ed O is trying to get a name regardless of fit.
O has said he wants to run a pro style offense.
Hiring Steve Ensminger would be a move to a pro style offense. We also looked at Kiffin Carroll’s old OC and Sark another USC OC.
We also recruited Myles Brennan last year.
I am not saying O is executing his plan well.

No that's not wrong at all.
You build an offense around the capabilities of the personnel you have.
If you have a solid oline and bruising back or two with a qb that looks to throw ball way before he should ever run, then pro style is where it's at for that team.
If you have a qb and some backs that are more shifty and quick then that offense prob wouldnt be best for the skill set of those players.
WTF is wrong with you people?
