They might show up and beat us if they go in with a cocky attitude like yours.

Being cocky doesn't get you beat. Being overconfident can. That ain't about to happen to this team. Too much awareness of what's at stake.

.....if LSU plays up to their capability they should have no problem with Ole Miss. However, this is the SEC....everyteam in this conference will bite you if you slack off. Especially if you play the turnover game. I expect a tough battle.

Having said that.....GEAUX TIGAHS!

If you think we won't be motivated to beat the Black Bears, think again. I still remember what he said when hired as the D-line coach. Someone asked him if he watched the LSU games:

"I watched every game, watched every play. Especially when we beat Ole Miss! Thank you, coach."

You’re talking about posters on a message board talking shite when this is what the Ole Miss QB is saying publicly this week:

quote:

I'm much faster than LSU's lineman and Linebackers so once I get past them I'll only have 1-2 DB's to beat and I'm pretty sure I'm faster than them too

Played and coached a long time. You can be cocky and respectful at the same time. Example-Joe Burrow...He's as cocky as anyone around but he backs it up and doesn't run his mouth. Every guy that goes on the field Sat. needs to believe they are better than the guy across from them. It's called having a mental edge and it has won many games in sport!

With or without being #1, the last 3 teams on our schedule hate our guts. That being said, we're the better team, and should beat them, starting with the Black Bears.

Give it a rest, its a message board, what fans think does in no wat reflect what the team thinks.

I love the ones who think WE on a message board reflect or influence the attitude of the team

I personally like the new found cockiness. O has instilled a new culture in that our guys know they are the better team than everyone they play. That’s the way it should be. Football teams play much better when they are confident.

WTF difference does Desert King's "cockiness" have to do with the team?
I don't get this BS.

Let's put it in perspective.
If LSU practices football as little as you have this week, they'll lose.

So starting this morning, you'd better get out there and run some full contact drills, Flash. Work on execution. Follow it up with windsprints.

Get to it!
We don't want to lose this one.

No. No. No. No.
stop thinking the SEC is so much better than everyone else when it comes to the non elite teams.

LSU would not lose to Ole Piss, or MSU, or Arkansas, or Vandy, or A&M, or USC, or Kentucky. They can come out and play a bad game and still win. Hell we played bad against MSU and Vandy, and still beat them handily.
