We hope he’s better than his rating

And maybe he will be, but my only point is that we’re saying this about 5 guys and chances are it isn’t going to be true about most of them.

“ keep us posted “

No, that’s OK. I’d really rather not be posted.

My only concern is recruiting players at DE. The last 3 years:

Farrell 3*
Thomas 3*

Cotton 4*
Nelson 3*

Evans 3*

We’re putting a lot of hope and prayer power into 3* developing into the kind of players we need them to be.

Glen Logan is a 4* soph DE. He saw a lot of playing time this year and had 43 tackles and 3 sacks. Why not include him?

It's perfect for the narrative. If these guys are underrated, then the coaches are geniuses. If they aren't, then we have the excuse that our lines have so much less talent than Bama, how can we possibly compete?

because I counted The 2017, 2018 and 2019 class and Logan was in the 2016 class, which was very good.

He is a RS Sophmore

I know it's cute to play this game, but there are reasons some guys don't get the pub and some just aren't as good. I personally like what I've seen on this kid based on film, coaching, character and family. He's a solid built player that dominates and has a very good motor.

Another one to watch will be Kendall McCallum ILB. The Bama fans were calling him the best player at any position at the Bama/Miss all-star game. He's a 3 star so I'm sure tRant will crap all over him. Aranda passed on some higher rated guys to get him, but I'm sure Aranda doesn't know talent.

Who did we pass on at ILB?

Christian Harris. He was a WR/CB that projected to ILB. We never offered and he went to Bama.

Fair enough.

Honestly, like I said, I dont Hate 3*s

I just don’t think they all are going to pan out, and you have better odds recruiting the higher ranked players.

Also we just need more DEs

I don't disagree and there are some commits that I'm not so high on. I won't name them because that's a shite thing to do on signing day. I just think these two will be good. Time will tell.

After watching them playing Bama, I'm glad we don't have to rematch them.

It's only okay that he's hard because they're men, not kids
