This is exactly what I was saying in the other thread Mike. You're not getting downvotes for your info. You get downvotes for presentation and perspective. No one is happier about getting Burrow than I am and I'm anxious to see all of the potential of the offense. But, even with Burrow, that's all we have right now, potential.

I am super glad Orgeron and company got Burrow. They did a great job doing what needed to be done to get him.
At the same time, let's not pretend that he didn't fall into LSU's lap.
Orgeron didn't know Burrow would transfer when he didn't sign a QB this past recruiting cycle.
Orgeron didn't know that when he hired a safties coach that he would have ties to a future transfer QB from tOSU.
His competition for Burrow was Cincy. That's it.
This is not me knocking Orgeron at all. He still had to put in the effort to get him, and I'm glad he did. Let's not act like he has not accomplished everything he needs to be considered a successful head coach.

Back Orgeron all you want dude. That's great, and nobody cares. The problem is you make 20 stupid threads about how great Orgeron is. We get it, you support him. No need for the threads every day calling out posters who aren't totally sold on him.
Then you call out other, very successful LSU coaches, in order to try to bring them down to Orgerons level. That makes you very much not likeable, and makes you appear totally stupid. From that point, no matter what you say, you will not be taken seriously.

He wanted to get Raymond some help and had coached with the guy before.

Stop. Doing crap like this needs to come to an end, and frankly it comes off just as terrible as LSUMike's post do.
Orgeron is the head coach, HE hired the safeties coach. Aranda may have had a huge hand in suggesting the guy, and convincing him to come, but if Orgeron doesn't want the hire to happen it doesn't happen.
