they are not beyond being criticized. Aranda isn't happy.

Explain to me why its ok to be critical of the offense after the same number of games? New QB, young wrs, rb's, linemen...why is it ok to be critical of them since the data pool is so small? hypocrite much? I am just playing your game...and you're being severely outwitted

If you want to say “the defense wasn’t good enough last game”

I’ll agree with you.

Otherwise the defense hasn’t underperformed a all. It’s been the reason we’ve won games

You're one of the prime target moving 7th graders

I disagreed with his assessment of the defense, it's in this very thread. Most people can easily read it

I'm still waiting for you to explain who the "they" is you're referring to when pointing out criticisms with Trout.

Probably because his players aren't motivated for 4 quarters. I don't blame him

Do you not know what the word “otherwise” means?

We're talking about a guy who needs someone to explain to him why the offense deserves criticism and the defense does not so far this season.

Think about that for a second.

It seems to be an issue with the whole team. We have been owned in every 3rd qtr which is very concerning. I expected more from our defense and anyone who was saying this could be our best defense ever has to be somewhat disappointed with some stretches of play this season. Sure we would all love the offense to put teams away but when up 20+ points I don't expect teams to get back into the game without turnovers or special team miscues...which hasn't been the case.

"Can they criticize? Now. Can they not criticize? First time it looks bad."

You're responding to the only guy being critical of the defense in the thread saying "they".

Again, do explain who it is you're referring to if it isn't him, even though he's doing exactly what you're saying "they" will do. I'll continue to wait.

I said "No." But logic dictates that if you hire "the best,"and let them be "the best" then they are "the best" for a reason. If they are routinely getting outperformed, then there are two outcomes 1) They aren't "the best," so the hire is wrong or 2) Something external, most likely another coach read: the HC, is altering their performance. Hence meddling.

I repeat, this is not what's happening. It's just the logical end of "letting coaches coach." Responsibility on performance is a problem in the O-coaching model. We see it time and time again as whether or not Canada is blamed for the Offensive struggles last year or not. It cuts BOTH ways. Cheerios will constantly bash Canada for personal reasons and say that his offense doesn't work, while not mentioning the fact that O admitted to meddling in the first place. Look, no one here is going to have a complete 100% picture, results will tell the story.

All head coaches should have input on both sides of the ball, as they should have a vision that everyone is coaching towards. That is true.

You're creating a false world where everything is neatly on two sides of a dividing line and trying to justify stupidity by that terrible logic.

You still refuse to answer why the offense has enough data to support being critical of them but the defense doesn't. I am fair and will be critical to what I see...you have an agenda bc you are anti O and ensminger was a bad hire in your opinion. Our defense according to many was going to be one of our best...do you think they have lived up to the hype? You really think this defense doesn't need work? You haven't been critical of this defense?

You can't even explain your own narrative but I'm the one with terrible logic.

The only thing that's puzzling is referring to people being critical of the team as "they" when responding to the only poster ITT that's actually being critical.
