Maybe they are only considering his record through the month of October?

Probably better than many expected. I'm waiting for a select few to be busy digging through newspapers and magazines to dig up articles and stats that seem to maybe prove this ranking wrong. They can't fathom O not being in at least the top 25 next to Saban.

Thanks Alleva.

Derek Mason of Vandy comes in higher than the coach at LSU and he has one only (1) SEC win in (2) seasons. Sad.

man that is still horrible considering this is only P5 schools they are comparing. Not much further he could be down on that list.

the fact that he is at Vandy automatically gives him some boosts. You do have to admit, he coaches a side of the ball and runs his program. Maybe that’s why.

all coaches have a low number until they win...
then some of them just bask in their accomplishments and lose their energy.

let O win first and then let's see what happens.

the future of LSU is tied to his success, at least for the next 2 or 3 years.
so I pull for the Tigers and O

This isn’t true.

Secondly, they looked at his previous coaching experience. On Sirius XM Marin paker show today the topic was who would you like to see coach your rival? Orgeron was mentioned several times. SMH
