Because Jordan Jefferson led such a prolific offense during his time.

If you cannot pass, you should not be playing QB.

Modern offenses need to be able to have a prolific passing offense to hit the next level and Daniels cannot take you there. End of story. We gave him a chance and he had some games where you thought it was possible but over 4 years as a starter now and he hasn't consistently shown anything. More ho-hum mediocre passing than anything.

Passing for 80 yards a piece against the likes of Auburn and Arkansas is pretty putrid.

Most would argue that a slower paced extended drive down the field is better because it gives your defense time to rest while working their defense more.

No they wouldn't and this hasn't been true for a decade and a half. You're welcome to watch the Les Miles and Bo Schembechler era all you want, but it's time for the offenses of today to upgrade to modernity which includes a strong passing component.

Ball control offenses always consist of a close because it requires your defense to completely shutdown your opponent. It's absurd because you're not going to shutdown anyone in the modern game.

Have you ever seen a fanbase wishcast that the receivers hate their QB more than the retards on here?
never. It’s hilarious they fell in love with nuss for a half of football during a game that was already over lol. It’s hilariously sad

You definitely didn't watch the game or at least pay attention...

sure, but the odds of multiple long, sustained scoring drives throughout the game is quite small, unless we're physically dominant at the LOS, which isn't true against the better teams we play.

Much better to get yards in as big chunks as possible and score as fast as we can. If that means we score in 3 minutes, great.

The "slow down our offense to let our defense rest" theory is absolutely moronic, especially when we have great athletes. It's not the 1970s anymore.

Move the ball downfield as fast and efficiently as we can.

No he hasn't he has shown he's still a turnover machine. And it's not like he just showed up. This was his second season. He has shown he can throw, and has also shown he doesn't value ball security much.

Genuine question, and I’m not a Jayden hater, I think he did fine this year. If you think that Nuss is what he is and can’t improve after only 2 years, 0 starts, and 126 total pass attempts, do you think Jayden will get better after 4 full years as a starter?

I think they both are what they are. JD will never be a big time down the field throwing QB but he makes up for that with his running ability. Nuss will never learn not to push passes he shouldn’t and will always be very turnover prone.

If Daniels comes back next year I could see him possibly leaving

Could, as in maybe?

Possibly, as in maybe?

So you could maybe see him maybe going away.

Ahh Rant logic, there is nothing like it.
