Are you serious? One of them has played like 1 total game worth of snaps and the other has been a starter for 4 years now.

Nuss played a hell of a game. He has started one career game. jesus.

As for JD. He is what he is. The good games you speak of were mostly short passes with receivers making plays after catch. He can't throw a downfield pass accurately, and can't see the field. That's not debatable.

Game experience is about pressure. Not working on timing with your receivers and execution.

I’m more curious as to why Daniels can’t get better. There is a ton of evidence supporting success & improvement even in 4th & 5th year QBs

I’m more interested in why & not just your bias. Because I know you won’t have a reason that holds any water

Nuss had zero practice time with the first receiver unit.

Man, he threw one directly to a Southern d back.

How I'm does that have anything to do with him having practice with recievers?

He will improve with more game time and real tape to look at his deficiencies. Just think of the improvement we saw in Daniels this year alone overall. I'm not saying who should start, but Nuss will 100% get better going forward with more time no matter what team he is on. He is too smart, too high of a football IQ, and too talented not to.

I guess the problem with your position is that it signals to the defense what to expect. Why do that?

This was the best year of his career by far

And it was not nearly what LSU needs from the QB position. 16 TDs in 13 games. That is anemic.

No, he has no shot to improve but the guy who’s been starting for 4 years just needs more time to get better- JD fans

Literally no one said this.

You do realize that the reverse of that is true too right? Opponents will have film to look at and prepare for him too.

Anyone taking this one performance as “proof” Nuss wouldhave been the better option this year doesn’t understand football at all.

He threw for 17 TDs/ 2 INTs as a FR and 16 TDs /3 INTs as a RS JR. How is that a significant improvement?

Weak armed Max Johnson threw for 27/6 with a first time OC calling the plays last year.

JD is thinking run before passing. Not a good QB mind set. Muss is a young passer that leaves running to the backs.
Rather have a great passer and leave running to others.
