He is a gunslinger. He will never worry about accuracy. There are many plays where the underneath route is there but he opts for the deeper throw.
His best game was against Arkansas when he threw all underneath passes bc the defense gave that to him. He had 0 TDs and lucky to not have 3 INTs.
He wants yards and TDs. Does not care for % stats. When he makes a mistake, he wants to do more than he needs to do.

Agreed. Start fresh with underwood, take our lumps next year with the freshman qb, quietly load the defense front back up, and plan for the future

Pretty sure if LSU had a better QB, BK would be playing him. I think it is an unfair assessment of Nuss. LSU can’t run so defenses adapt accordingly. Nuss has a lot of pressure to make plays and produce, otherwise the offense is essentially impotent. I blame it on coaching and perhaps short on talent. Whatever the case, BK will never bring another championship to LSU football.

The kid has a cannon for an arm and confidence, but he has fricking rocks for brains and falls for the most simple baits. It's wild to see the dude that was clamored for have the QB IQ of a kid on Madden.

Oh he gives a damn. About himself. He’s a fricking douchebag. All talk and hype and honestly he’s fueled by a few lucky and good plays. A majority of his plays he doesn’t play smart or overthinks it. Just not a gamer.

Tonight he struggled but Lacey and Anderson have had pretty good games at receiving. Lacey was leading the SEC in TD receptions.

A month ago he was projected by some NFL experts as a top 10 pick. NFL scouts love arm strength more than anything. Look at Anthony Richardson. He was a 4th overall pick. You think Nuss is not as good as him?
I think Nuss could go in day 2 to a team. Have him sit behind a veteran QB. His style would be better suited for a pro style offense. Not an offense where the QB needs to be mobile or use RPO a lot.

His mentality is that every pass he throws will be caught. His inability to attempt to run is totally crap and is a cause for offensive woes.

The offense that BK likes to run is where the QB can run. Nuss is not that QB. BK has no other option better. Underwood coming will be a better fit in the scheme.

Kelly went out and found Danials. He should have gotten an experienced backup quarterback to Nuss. Having no backup if Nuss is doing bad or hurt is stupid.
