I would love to see Nuss play. He has had a poor year.
I would love to see him go out with a bang in the bowl game and show his real potential to NFL scouts.

Burrow had Chase, Jefferson, and Moss. Nuss's receivers couldn't get open and were scared to cross the middle. Huge difference.

Worst case falls to 4th round.
Brock Purdy was Mr. Irrelevant and he had much better film than Nuss, so draw your own conclusions

So at what point is it considered unacceptable for these players who are now being paid for their services to play at their respective institutions, to sit out in the name of securing their future earnings for an entirely different league/entity?
100%
Imagine making 6 million dollars being healthy and saying no thanks. The arrogance is unbelievable. Can they do that in the nfl? These players are so self centered!

Joe Burrow was sacked 34 times in 2019. Nuss has been sacked 19. Stop blaming the Oline for Nuss making awful decisions with the ball. He's got guys open, and hes simply not throwing the ball but to the check down.
Agree

He’s quit on a Texas bowl before why stop now.

What are we teaching these young players; people go to work every day many in jobs risking their lives for far less financially. These self centered players want their cake and ice cream. I got my feeling hurt; so I’m not playing coach; but I’ll keep my millions. Sad state of affairs that needs to be changed and in a hurry.

He isn't playing another snap for LSU.
Quitters should never play for LSU

From being pre-season Heisman favorite, to potentially being an UDFA is insane to me. Makes me feel for him then I remember he got a fat NIL Deal then sat around in the Off-Season and then I don't lol

Well Joe B was not a pussy either, at least he took off and would run downfield. Remember his words, I have a LB attitude when running. The fact is the game was to much for Nuss.

This looks like a great opportunity to give Ju'Juan Johnson a bunch of first team reps and see if he can ball out as QB1 for the bowl game.
Chances are good that anyone on the roster currently isn't starting next year, might as well see if they're worth keeping as a backup.

Nuss has been sacked 19.
And ran himself into half of those because he was scared to step up in the pocket. His last snap as a Tiger pretty much sums up his pocket awareness perfectly.

Let’s start Juan Johnson.

That’s because they kicked our arse

the oline hasn't changed, and it hasn't, would you want to go out there and put out more tape when even you may not be completely healed? there is no upside to trying to make this offense work.
This is bullshite. Nuss hasn’t been a winner since he stepped on campus. You guys can sugar coat all of this however you like. Nuss quit when he had the chance early on and he will do the same here.
The guy never had it. I don’t know how this many people still support this guy. He isn’t a team player and the stats are irrefutable.
A competitor would play every chance he gets. I respect the guys that suit up every chance they get and put the work in.
This isn’t popular but it’s what has happened
Off of my soap box. I hope the guys show up and show a little heart and beat the hell out of Houston

Jontre is forever and always a total hero in my book - he was awesome! Hope he’s having a wonderful life.
