This just isn't accurate. He went 1-2 with a 60% completion percentage and was absolutely abysmal on 3rd down and in the red zone

Again, I don't really give a shite if Brennan wins the job but this is a garbage argument.

- He went 1-2 because we gave 45 points in each of those games.

- He completed 60% of his passes while LSU receivers led the nation in dropped passes at around 10% of dropped targets.

- He was garbage in the red zone and on third down because our offensive line could get no push and the running game was non existent thus making everything an obvious passing situation.

That's also the reason for his inflated stats, we were throwing the ball a shite ton because we were always behind and couldn't run it anyway.

Remember when we all took sides on who should start Brennan or burrow. LINK

It is accurate though. He threw for 1,112yds 11 TD 3 INT. Now do Nuss and Daniels stats.

None of have seen enough of these quarterbacks in this system to know who should start.

Any argument for one guy over the other is simply someone picking favorites based on some other factors.

Yep. This is exactly who he is. And Purple Tiger King looked like a bitch after all his Max Johnson and Coach O predictions came crashing down.

Armhair loves Nuss. Posters on his bedroom wall, big fan. His mom makes his bed with them Nuss sheets and comforter.

Baw, I haven't worked offshore in 6yrs and I don't even eat at BK. The First Cut should have been from ear to ear so you wouldn't be spewing your stupid remarks on a message board.

He attempted 47 passes per game and was throwing to Arik Gilbert, Terrance Marshall, and Kayshon Boutte. If you actually watched all of the games you could see he was underwhelming and didn't look composed

Nuss hasn’t started yet, but in Daniels’ 29 starts, he threw for just over 6,000 yards with 36 TDs and 13 interceptions.

Because there was zero run game.

So a head case /bust, a guy who is struggling to crack an NFL line up, and a freshman who was barely playing at that point.

He struggled against MSST, but that was his first start. He looked fantastic against Vandy(I know, Vandy) and lookes solid against Missouri despite playing the majority of the game with a season ending injury.

Myles played well enough to start the season 3-0. But yeah, let's continue to ignore the fact that he had to deal with a garbage OL and possibly the worst LSU defense of all time.

Eta: and I'm not out here saying Myles should be the starter. But the posters who shite on him for no reason are out of line.

That Vandy team he beat was so bad that they fired their coach at the end of the season. He looked bad against Missouri, your barometer for qb play is very low. Let's not forget, he looked overwhelmed and timid when there weren't even any fans in the stadium because of it being the covid year

Devil's advocate, who has looked better in your opinion?

If my QB "looks bad" while throwing for 430 yards and 4 touchdowns I think that's something I can live with.

I'd say it's pretty high. Unlike you I was actually on the site and posting while Joe Burrow was the quarterback.

I'm sure you were too, but now you're just using this shitty alter.

and how have the other QBs looked? Did Daniel's look good when he threw as many touchdowns as interceptions? Did Nuss look good as he was blindly firing balls down the field last year?

Nuss looked much better. Sure he made some dumb mistakes and some bad throws, but he looked extremely comfortable evading defenders and he wasn't afraid to pull the trigger and let it rip. When he was in the game he was very confident and was slinging the ball around with authority. Nuss is the opposite of timid and I think he's had time to mature and this season we won't see him swinging for the fences and going for home run on every throw.

When I watched MB, I saw someone who was a statue in the pocket, someone who held onto the ball too long and seemed very hesitant to make throws. I think most reasonable people would agree that MB and Nuss play the qb position very differently

You and a couple other posters in here follow the same song and dance every summer.

You come on here with some shitty arse alters and blindly advocate for one of the QBs while trashing the others.

Nuss has only completed 50% of his career passes for 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

He may very well be the better option but to say he has "looked better" holds no water at this point.

It's fine that you've chosen your favorite but your argument makes no more sense than the Brennan homers who want him to start because he's "been here a long time."

well let's dive into that a little deeper. In his one start, the one touchdown he threw was a bad decision. A last second lob with his feet not set to the back of the end zone that Bech luckily came down with.

You might be content with Myles' garbage qb play, but I'm not and I promise the people inside the program aren't either.

So because you've been posting on a message board longer than i have, your opinion is more valid than mine?

I just answered this, yes he 100% did. He didn't look scared to death back there and he wasn't afraid to pull the trigger

Again, devil's advocate, but we've already been told that the quarterback job would go to whoever can take care of the ball the best.

Myles seems to do that the best of the three just based on the body of work but again, no one here has seen enough of these quarterbacks in this system to even make a valid argument.

Except it actually does make more sense because I'm actually giving you valid reasons why Nuss should start. This is an awful comparison
